Uxbridge Cat Rescue is a foster-based rather than a shelter-based organization. There are so many advantages for rescued cats that are cared for in a home setting. Foster homes are less stressful than noisy shelters. The sights, smells, sounds and surfaces are those of a home rather than an institution. Cats have comfortable beds to sleep in, lots of playtime, love and cuddles. Foster parents can help care for cats with special needs or issues, and semi-feral or neglected cats that require some patient taming or training.
Foster parents help save cats’ lives by helping them become adoptable. If you would like to join Uxbridge Cat Rescue’s team of foster parents, please contact Nicola Ransom-Brown at: njreb.9705@yahoo.com
